I was sent home with an IV and I was told to take it out at 6:00 I did but my mom had to run m ylittle bro to violin lessons so I took it out on my own and it is bleeding really bad and and I do not know how to stop it (my mom leeft her cell at home) how do I stop th bleeding?

Apply direct pressure. It will stop. Sometimes this happens when IV's are removed.

Apply direct pressure and hold your arm up above your head. This is normal but if it does not stop I would give the hospital a call. Don't worry!

Apply pressure to the site with clean gauze or washcloth until the bleeding stops.

Apply pressure to it and keep your arm elevated, the bleeding should stop.

Put pressure on it, and keep holding it. Itll stop, just stay calm. The more excited you get, the more blood itll pump out.
