One of the best tropical locations is Tortola in the BVI's. The beaches are terrific and the people are great too. Many places to stay in different prices ranges. You will love it.

If you are about the beaches and the night club thing try Antigua or Barbados.
If you are about the tropical rainforests and hiking and snorkeling and waterfalls and rivers and such things there is nowhere on earth that is better for this than Dominica(NOT the Dominican Republic) but the Nature Isle Of The Caribbean.Dominica.

If you want a great cheap place with free drinks and free lobster for 150 a day then check out San Andres Island which is near Costa Rica and all inclusive place with great ocean fishing and free water sports plus any drink u want 24 hours free with 2 other bars as well but your spanish needs a little their.
