Barzakh - It is situated between 'dunya' (physical world) and 'akhirah' (Hereafter), where all the souls of mankind are separated from their bodies and remain there till Judgement Day.

Muslims believe that during this transition, the soul can face a hard time or a pleasurable one. It depends on the kinds of deeds you have done in this world.

One of the things that the soul will go through is a questioning session. The angels will come and ask :
1. Who is thy Lord and Sustainer?
2. Who is thy Prophet?
3. What is thy religion?
4. What is thy Book?
5. Where is thy Qibla (direction of prayer)?
6. Who are thy Imams?
If the soul has been a good Muslim he/she will be able to answer these questions without a problem.

I know they seem like easy questions but in a world like barzakh, we believe only our good deeds & strong iman (faith) can help us.

And just roughly about Judgement Day we believe that all the souls will be resurrected and God will balance out your good deeds to your bad deeds (your book of deeds).

This is getting lengthy, so if you'd like to know more details everything is in the Quran.

There are two contradictory stories that you will hear. One says that when a Muslim dies fighting aginst infidels they will go straight to Paradise and get the virgins etc. the other says that when you die you go to a holding facility to await the Day of Judgement (which could be millions of years in the future). On Judgement Day God will reconstruct everyone from all the atoms that were once in their bodies and then make a judgement about whether you go to paradise or downstairs to hell.

Major problem with the latter story is that lots of atoms are recycled through the food chain and so it would be impossible to reconstruct everyone as the atoms have been used over and over again by different people and animals through the ages.

The clay of the Muslim's grave becomes clay for the potter's wheel. Pots and bricks are fashioned from it, and it cries out as it burns. The poor clay burns, burns and weeps, as the fiery coal fall upon it.

We are judged every single day, every single second of every minute of every hour and meted out judgement as appropriate. If a person dies and is buried in the ground his decomposed body will release it's material into the earth. That material may get into the food chain and be consumed by another person. On this ‘judgement day’ who will rise from the dead to be judged?

The first person or the second person and how can the first person rise if he is now part of the second person?

Just think about it, its logical!

Anyone can go to heaven. They just have to be good people, pray to God, help humanity. we believe in a Day of Judgement and that will happen once the whole world ends. God will judge all of his creations. So we dont think anyone is in Heaven or Hell at the moment. Its a waiting period. Ive never heard of barzaq, it must be a belief of anoher denomination in Islam. Also we do not believe hell is eternal, it only lasts as long as God judges you need. In the end, everntually all mankind will stay in heaven forever because of God's mercy.

Yes we believe in life after death. As for spirits, there is a whole other being of creatures called jinns. They can see us, but we do not see them unless they choose to appear. And they can take on the forms of animals and human beings.

Read the Quran.

Take a shower and approach the Quran with an open mind, and dont ask questions that may have an adverse effect on you if you learn the correct answer.

If they give their lives for the cause of Allah via bombing, terrorizing, killing, beheading, poisoning etc. they will go to heaven and get the best house there with 144 virgins. The ones who died anyhow might have a divorcee, ex-wife, single mother something like that.

You get 72 virgins for a start. And I believe that is a lot more than you get under the christian regime.
