The people of USA are famous for being the only industrialised country to have the same levels of superstition and mystical belief as those of Bangladesh.
On a typical day here at Yahoo Answers, people are writing in saying they believe in God, the day of judgment, Jesus, creationism, Allah, crop circles, the healing power of stones, naturopathy, angels, spirits, flying saucers, the ghost of dead Elvis and that the moon is made of magic jam.
So tell me, is there someone out there, heck even a whole group of you, that think Santa Claus is an alien sent by Jesus?

I am overwhelmed by the excellent answers everyone!
Perhaps the next step is to gather together as a congregation, preferably before christmas so that the present orders can be placed in time for Santa Claus to load into his flying saucer.

Oh chuff me yes. Here at the blessed church of the bearded alien we believe that Santa clause is indeed the herald of Jesus, who one day will appear down all our chimneys with a hearty 'Ho Ho Ho" before changing his reindeer into wine and feeding us all with the contents of a single Christmas cracker! Santa Claus is a saint his real name is saint Nichols he use to leave stuff on peoples house with out no one knowing about,when people find out they called him Santa Claus.he was a human being,St Nichols was born in the middle east in the year 270 and died in the month dec 6 year 343.

I hope you do not buy into this trash talk of others. people like to play games, there are some descent questions on here, you have to weed them out, don't give up. As for Santa Clause and Jesus- The wise men brought gifts to the child for his birth, i don't buy gifts for grown ups just the children in my life, and i give to the church. you get a gift on your birthday not on Jesus'. Why should you? Leave the aliens in outer space were they belong.

I do think Santa Claus is an alien, and there's no doubt in my mind that Jesus sent him.... I have reason to believe he only brings presents so that he can rape our pets.

Jesus would not try to trick us like that....Jesus gave him a very long life so that he can make kids happy for many many years...... he lives at the north pole in an underground secret cave like batman. and his reigndeer can fly like superman. and he has magical powers like mary poppins. all of whom are real too. don't go filling our kids with the silly notion that he is an alien.... we all know he is real.
