This website is the only place to get your totally free credit report. You are entitled to 1 free report per year from each of the 3 credit bureaus.

http://annualcreditreport.com is the official site blessed by the Federal Trade Commission. You can request one or all three credit reports through the site once a year (each). You do not need a credit card number unless you want to purchase your credit score.
FreeCreditReport.com is a scam run by a company using Experian's name under license. Signing up creates a "trial membership" for their personal credit monitoring service and you must cancel that membership within 30 days to avoid being charged. (It's right there on the front page of the site.)

Try going to the site listed below. I did mine on there. You can get free reports from the three major credit reporting agencies in the USA. Once a year you can get this free report. If you are asked for a c/c number, exit out. Good luck.
