I would guess it would be a good idea to approach it the same as any other job.

Develop a resume, submit an application for employment and hope the phone rings notifying you of the need to schedule an appointment for an interview.

If you use drugs, forget about it. You'll never get past a pre-employment drug screen or any random testing that will occur.
