This guy gave me a really big smile one day at work that I'd seen around a couple of times before. I smiled back. Then a couple of days went by and he passed by and smiled again. Again I smiled back. But after that everytime he sees me he'll give me this really weird stare for a couple of seconds and then walk away. I most of the time have to look away first. He doesn't seem to be in a daze. I mean it seems as if he wants me to catch his stare. But why the change from a smile to this? And he's such a goodlooking guy. Seems he could get any girl he wants to. So why me? Does he think I'd be the easy type I did have a low cut shirt on a couple of times but in a classy way with a jacket over it. I'm not the easy type. One time when he stared at me he was with a friend. And after they walked away the friend looked back it looked like the guy said something to either make him smile or laugh. Do you think he thinks I like him and he's making fun of me? why be so mean?

It could mean a number of things. Smiling is good. The stare is debatable. He could be into you but not too sure about how you feel. Thinks you like him and its a little awkward. I'd say ask him whats up with it. But hey, thats just me.

Maybe he's just shy/awkward and doesn't know how to approach you. Talk to him and ask him about something - you'll get an idea pretty quick if he's interested in you.

Otherwise, I don't see why he shouldnt be hitting on you. Maybe he just has a thing for classy girls..
