I'll tell you the same thing my Doctor told me when I went to him for a Zyban prescription. He said " I can give you that, patches, potions, hypnosis or a magic wand. It all comes back to the same thing. You have to get it in your head that you need to quit."
He went on to say that once you have quit...every reason you have to start back is a good reason.
I left with the prescription, but I never had it filled.
I picked a day on the calender that had no significance to me and told myself that was the day I'd become a non-smoker and I stuck to it. That was over 9 years ago and I know I will never smoke again. I smoked for 20+ years.
There was an ad in our local paper about a hypnotist coming to the Holiday Inn to get people to quit and I knew 3 people that went...all 3 still smoke. I'd say save your money and think about what you need to do. E-mail me for support if you want. Good luck to you.
