Try to eat 1200-1500 calories a day. No JUNK!!!! Whole grains,veggies and fruit. Drink water instead of juice which is high in calories. Go to www.am-i-fat.com for more info on this. This is the site I got my info for losing weight.

Well, I know that the average person is supposed to have 2000 calories a day but you should probably have 1500-1300 and then you'll gradually start losing weight.
Excercise and healthy foods are a plus too.

I have looked at a few websites. The minimum caloric intake is 1200 calories. Using Dr. Phil's rapid start plan, I lost 6 pounds in a week. Here is a link for sample menus.
