Ive been where you are many times. I have felt it would be far easier to just die, but then I think to myself...How do I know what will be waiting for me on the other side. I have heard lots of stories about people who have had near death experiences and the ones who tried to suicide but came back...some of them had some horrific stories to tell....One I remember reading...she shot herself 3 times, but failed...so she was deadly serious...she wanted to die. It obviously wasnt her time, but at one point her heart stopped...she was dead. When she was revived she told of how these hideous creatures were tearing at her flesh...she felt like she was in hell. She said she had never experienced pain like it...she was tormented for the entire time she was dead. When she became well again she never tried to kill herself again because she said the pain she suffered when she was dead was 1,000 times worse than the emotional pain she was suffering on this earth. No-one knows about a life after this one. I believe, however, that we are put here in this life as a trial to see if we are strong enough to get into the next one. This life is full of pain and sorrow, but if we can get through that pain we will become stronger human beings and if we learn about ourselves and our strengths then we will eventually find our happiness. If we didnt suffer pain we would not appreciate the wonderful things this world has to offer us. And it does....this world has some great opportunities. You may not feel this way now, but if you can get through this terrible time in your life then I guarantee you will become a lot stronger for it. No-one knows what awaits them around the corner, but if you are dead you will never know. Happiness is around your corner, but it may take 10 corners for you to turn until you find it. You will find it...I guarantee it, but you have to hang on. You need to find as much strength and support as you can muster up. You need to be surrounded by good friends and maybe get some counselling. Do whatever it takes to keep yourself alive because once you are dead there is no coming back and you will never have the opportunity to find the reason why you were put on this earth....You will never find your ultimate happiness.

dying may seem easier, but it is not your best alternative. no matter what you may think, there is someone who loves you and would feel a lot of pain at the loss of you in their lives.
you don't say why you feel this way, maybe you don't know. but if it's a broken heart, they really do heal. eventually.
this is a hard question to answer, but i hope you don't act on your feeling. you truly do have your whole life ahead of you, whatever your age.
if there are conditions in your life that make you feel this way, can you remove yourself from that situation?
i don't know how to answer your question. i do know that when i felt that way in the past, i started to think about the people i loved, the ones i might be leaving behind. i didn't want to leave them, not like that. by the grace of god, i toughed out the situation that made me feel that way. and after a while, things did get better.
please don't do anything drastic. you may not believe it now, but it will get better. i see that you've gotten some good answers already, please listen to what these people are saying to you.

It may seem easier right now, but suicide is a definitely a FINAL decision - one you can't change your mind about later. If you feel like you can't go on, find help. Talk to a friend or family member who can help you immediately. Look for counseling. Call one of the available suicide hotlines. Make changes in your life to make it better. Do whatever it takes. Your life is worth living. Hurting yourself hurts those around you too. I had a friend who chose to kill herslef over a boyfriend and her little brother was the one who found her. He has been in and out of jail ever since. If you need someone to talk to, give me a shout - seriously.

Everyone thinks this way at least once in their life. If you stick around there's gonna come a time that you're absolutly and completly glad you did. There's always SOMEone to talk to ya know. You don't have to sit and wait for things to get better, you can take a step right now in your life to change how you feel. Deep down you know it isn't the right thing to do. Best wishes.

you need to find a mentor, someone you can talk openly and honestly with.
Also, do you know that you are loved by your Creator? That He knew you before you were born? God loves you very much. He knows everything that you are encountering in life, as He has been through all that you are going through.
Life gets difficult and seems unbearable at points, I know this as I have been there myself. As I would lay in bed thinking about killing myself, my thoughts were always turned to the good things in my life - whatever they may be. And ultimately, my thoughts were turned to God.
When you focus on the Lord, all of your problems will seem to melt away. Turn your problems over to the Lord, pray for His guidance and help. Keep on praying, keep on listening for His answer. Be ever vigilant!!
God bless you............

first of all, you're not alone. alot of people feel that way. probably more than you think. second, speak to your doctor about what kind of medicine you could take to help you feel better. i did about a year and a half ago. it was the best thing i did. i am on zoloft, and it helps me so much. i still have my days, but nothing like before. hope this helps.
