i'm talking like late 20's early 30's dating early early 20 yr old girls. what do you like about that? what are the issues that arrise from it....such as you are more settled (like no more late night partying) down and mentally mature than the girl?

it's a sociological thing. people are more willing to accept an older women with a younger man. There is something about a young man dating an older one that makes us want to cheer on the younger guy. south park addressed the issue, a 20/20 episode on the age of consent did the same thing. Bottom line in between Van Halen's song "hot for teacher" and ABC's new series Cougar town. It's becoming a norm. PS. I'm the younger guy in a relationship. we starting when i was 17 and she was 18. I'm now 18.

Pros - well it's always nice to be seen with a younger girl.
Cons - Chances are you will want to settle down a lot faster than she does. Also, she's only young and although she thinks that this may be what she wants now, in a few years she may decide that this isn't what she wants.
I was married (not to an older man) in my early 20s and the person I was when I was 21 was not the same person I was at 26.

I am 22 and my boyfriend is 38 - there are plenty of pros and cons. He can talk about a certain tv show or song from when he was younger and I really can't relate. But I think that if that's the worst thing we have then we're fine. I work a lot so I don't party and because he's older he doesn't either. It can be difficult when we go out with his friends because most are married with kids - and I can't really relate, but then again neither can my boyfriend. A lot of my friends have graduated college and have mon-fri 9-5 jobs so it's nice to go out in couples.

Here's the deal...
I'm nearly 50 and my last gf was 28.... when I was 48 I dated a 19 yr old....
In both cases we only had one thing in common as it turns out... and it didn't require any thinking.... so now I date girls/women my age...
That one thing is still great and afterwards they can actually talk.
