All you can do is call all of the companies in your area. And the more well known the company is doesn't mean they'll be cheaper. They don't have to be people will always go to them ( which is why nike can cherge so much for shoes.) It all depends on your age driving record how many years you've been licensed the area you live in how far from energency services you are etc... Find out if the company you work for has an insurance company they use for a corperate plan/group rate. I pay $1300 for my 2006 Impala I'm 28 married driving for 10 years good record that's with a discount. It would be at least $2000 - $3000 with another company the higher costs being the major companies. I was paying $1500 for an 04 Aveo hatchback so you never know what they look at. Or get a relative to add the vehivle to their plan and add you as a second driver. At least until your rates start to go down.

My names Margret and I work at an insurance agency. This might help.
I cant tell you for sure the price of the insurance on your vehicle. Why? Because it varies. Most insurance companies ask for certain things like your age, your record, if you have more than 3 years of driving expirience, if you are a homeowner (which usually end up recieving Liability on their vehicles.), the vehicle and the type of insurance you want for car.
My best advice is to go to an insurance agency, they can help you get what you want and serve your needs better. At the insurance agency i work in we recieve phone calls from people all over the US asking for quotes and we help them by finding an insurance company close to their area to better serve them. MOst insurance agencies work with more than 20 standard and non standard companies.

Hope this helps.

Check with a number of insurance agents and companies to compare insurance prices in your area. Check Consumer Reports at your local library for credible information on used vehicles.

The best insurance site I think would be www.gieco.com, I have had them for years, and would be the best price for looking up what you might want. They save you money because they dont have agents, they deal directly... you can go to there site and they will be happy to assist you .. good luck..as for other suv's. type suv;s in the search engine and you will find numerous sites to find your answer.. Good luck..

its place dependent if you live in a place with many uninsured drivers (like i do) its going to be higher than somewhere that everyone has insurance, also your age younger means higher, and sex (sadly) women have lower insurance than men
