I had implantation spotting on 12/28 and my due date says 9/21 which correlates perfectly. Did anyone else have that?
How long can sperm live for in order for conception to happen ?

I had spotting 4 days after intercourse and 19 days into my cycle so i think it was implantation spotting.

Implantation spotting is very common. Sounds like you know exactly when you got pregnant.

I think that there is a lot of incredible technology out there today. I absolutely think it is possible to pinpoint exactly, but don't honestly think that they meant to do it. They have a lot of things going on and I am sure it was a lucky accurate guess. My husband and I do not have sex too often, once or twice a week, and there was an important event at the beginning of Feb which we both remember having sex on. Of course the doctors didn't know this, but it is a strange coincidence that they pointed out the day we had sex as day of conception. My estimated due date is Nov. 2nd which is exactly 40 weeks from that day in February...Weird huh? We may never know. If you watched your ultrasound closely, or have had a more recent one you may notice that all measurements of baby detect a different due date, therefore you cannot completely go by your due date, what if baby has a big head, or short legs? That would judge your due date much differently, they just pick an average because body parts will grow at different rates.

I had spotting during my early stages of pregnancy. Although I dont remember how many weeks along I was. I notice the spotting after having intercourse. It sorta freaked me out b/c my sister and grandmother had 2 miscarriages before they were able to carry a child. I went to the doctor and they did a vaginal exam. Everything turned out to be fine. She said that it was probaly just from my husband rubbing my insides or just my body thinking that it was time for my cycle. Other than that I had a good pregnancy and delivery. to be honest i didnt think it was possible to pinpoint an exact day of implantation because a sperm can live for up to 5 days so.....?

I don't know a lot about the other things, but sperms can live for about 72 hours after ejaculation.
