You need to treat your whole house, and yard as well as your dog. The best flea treatment I have found is FRONTLINE Top Spot. Since using it, I've had no problems and it's been years. You can get this from your vet or online. It's a little pricy, but worth it....Your dog and you will be happier. Take Care.

washing your dog only kills the live fleas that are on him at the time of his bath. what you need to do, is stop wasting your time and your money on sprays and shampoo, take him to the vet and purchase a topical flea product from your vets office-like frontline plus (that product also breaks the cyle by killing flea eggs). You will also need to treat your pets environment as well, by washing his bedding and when you vacum your home, be sure you discard the bag immediately as the fleas will still live in the bag and reinfest your home.

Have you ever thought that maybe the fleas are all around your house by now, like on the sofa, in your clothes, and even on you? I think maybe you should de-flea your whole house and make sure your dog isn't "socialising" with other animals, like other dogs, stray cats whatever. It's pointless just treating your dog when he's probably picking them up from his local surroundings.
...It's like have kids with nits, what's the point of cleaning their scalp every night if their just going to pick 'em back up at school next day. You need to get to the root of the problem and eliminate it.
............Ignore that answer above me when your rating best answer will ya? By the time you've read it, the number of fleas you have will have quadrupled! :)

whilst i prefer to purchase fleas therapy for my dogs, I get them organized from Amazon because of the fact their value is lots under retail shop like Petco, Walmart, and ... as an occasion the style that I used is income, which I distinctly propose because of the fact each dose final for a month and that's water evidence. Petco sales 6 dose equipment for $sixty 9.ninety 9 collectively as Amazon sales it for around $40 5. besides to that considering I lived in California ( between the 40 six states that Amazon have not got a warehouse on), i don't could pay taxes and that i'm getting unfastened transport. I been treating my 5 years previous Jack Russell income and it by no skill have been given any fleas. We provide her a bathtub fairly lots as quickly as each week and the end results of the therapy nonetheless shop going. in case you calculate it out it basically value me approximately $7.50 according to month to handle me dogs. Please do not bypass to retail shop and purchase your dogs therapy, they in many situations overcharge their client because of the fact they could pay the value to hire cashiers and the value of renting the area. Amazon is a recordable business enterprise and in reality they're the biggest on line shop interior the whole international. So your product is absolute to be from the manufacturers.

I use frontline on my dog. Though you may have to spray inside the house especially where the dog tends to sleep and spend allot of time

alot of times if you don't treat your house or apartment they will keep coming back. I know from experience. Try some over the counter spray's in the pet aisle, that's worked for me.
