My husband will drink the night before, and be drunk for two days after. If we go to bed at 2am on friday night. He is still drunk all of saturday. And you can tell the alcohol is still in his system on sunday. WHY??? the last doctor visit he had everything was fine. Any ideas. Only serious answers please i am really worried.

BTW: he is in counseling seeking help for his drinking and other issues. And he is 75% native american and comes from a very alcoholic family

I wish I had that problem!Call a doctor and get a second opinion,you sure he's not hung over or drinking behind your back? That is very strange, have him eat bananas and drink peidialite, that will help him and rehydrate him as well

Try AA. Some people get up in the middle of the night and take a snap or even in the morning. Get help and don't back down.
