Classified. That's why you can't find pictures of the inside. Why would you want to see them anyways?
I stand corrected. There IS a public domain picture, the one cited below. What the hell?
By the way, the M1 is sold to places like Egypt and Kuwait, but there are still systems inside American versions that are unique to the Army and Marine Corps. Hence, the no pictures rule, in general.
I've crawled around in an M1A2 and a Type 90, and had Leopard 2's roll by me. Tanks inside aren't all that awe-inducing. The M2 ... now that's a painful subject matter for anyone who's had to ride one buttoned up.

Stick around History Channel of Discovery's Military Channel. They have a half dozen shows on the M1 in permanent rotation. You'll see the driver station and the gunner and reloaders in action, but you won't get a close look at any of the electronics.
There is a separate show that explains how M1s are refurbished, they won't show how the armor is enhanced because of security rules.

the specs and pictures of the inside of a M1 series, M2 series along with several other vehicles are listed as For Official Use Only, do you have an official use? than you wont have access
and we sell the vehicle but some of the systems on the current models are not sold to others, we sell technology that is last generation or older depending on how friendly they are.

Current M1s might be classified. Old M1s are most likely not.
I can't find pictures either.
