It appears that religious people disagree Charles Darwin. Some even detest him, labeling him a satanist. Charles Darwin sought evolution because they were scientific facts to prove his theory. He just needed to put the pieces together. It wasn't a personal attack on religion yet Christians are personally attacking Darwin. He produced considerable evidence that species originated through evolutionary change, at the same time proposing the scientific theory that natural selection is the mechanism by which such change occurs. This theory is now considered a cornerstone of biology. He did it soundly and with the utmost respect.

there is no evidence that darwin took back his theory before he died. it is fact. every US federal court, circuit court and supreme court has ruled in favor of evolution teaching. US judges have ruled it fact.

Charles Darwin did not have a deathbed conversion as far as we know.

I do not personally attack Darwin, I merely state the fact that he made a guess about evolution without facts, and to this day there are still no facts to support his 'theory' - which is merely a guess.

Evolution remains a theory, unproven. If evolution had been proven, it would become the Law of Evolution, but it is still a theory.

Evolution is, has been, and shall always be voodoo science.

And Darwin has made a monkey out of all you who believed him.

Christians do that? That's a broad brush. I think he was wrong, it hasn't been proven fact, as you said, it's theory. I have nothing personally against him.
As I see it, he is just another sinner, not knowing the truth.
God proved Himself to me when I was 40 so, I have no need of theory.

We are worth a Son to God.

My church doesn't say Darwin is bad. I don't have a problem with evolution. It's mostly the fundamentalists that take the Bible literally. Most of them don't know that the creation story was written by the Hebrew elders when they were held captive in Babylon around 500 BCE to compete with the Zoroastrian creation story.

Darwin said what the evidence pointed to it's degrading to our pre-human ancestors who lineage reaches back to single cell organisms to suggest they didn't exist. They did and it should give humanity a connection to nature rather than try to say we're separate or better than them. Proof is in the fossil record any way

I think people make the mistake of having evolution on one side and religion on the other. The two coincide, they are two in the same, and yes I believe in God and I believe in evolution. Both sides that try to dismiss eachother are both wrong.

I don't think of Darwin or evolution very often. Thanks for bringing it up and ruining my evening!..........I've heard that Darwin did ask for a preacher to come visit him, when he was on his deathbed though.

Since he denounced his own theory...I'm thinking he was smart after all. Don't you know??? He was a Christian and...

It's a THEORY. That's it. No proof to back it up. Oh, since people believe it, I guess that means they do have faith. (Believing in something you can't see).
