I would definitely stick to a traditional white wedding dress. As for everything else ... I think that Silver, pink and white would look beautiful together. Pink Lillie's and white roses sound nice to me. Silver ribbons and dinnerware would be nice accents. Hey .... it's your wedding, have fun with it!! Good luck .. and I wish you and your spouse eternal happiness!

Go with an all white bouquet for you.
Pink (various shades from pastel to deep to bright) in your bridesmaid bouquets.
Groom has a white boutonniere to match you and the groomsmen have matching boutonnieres to the bridesmaids.
I would stay away from the black and silver regarding the outside ceremony and the bouquets.
Put the black and silver to use inside in the ballroom where you can play off the lights and ambience of the ballroom. I would suggest white callas lilies in a tall vase (calla lilies and bear grass only...very elegant) with votive candles scattered on the table with some clear crystals on the tables to sparkle in the light. Use black and silver on the table placards, utensil holdings, wedding invites and all the stuff in that area.
Good luck.

Go with the colors you like.....
I honestly don't believe in going by season. It's your wedding, and no matter what the date, you should choose colors you enjoy.
Pink, black, and silver would be beautiful. Of course, save the white for yourself!!
I would do either a pink bridesmaids dress with a black sash or ribbon or the opposite (black with pink). The maid of honor could always be the opposite of the bridesmaids. Then use silver as an accent color.
Also, it's your fiance's wedding also-ask him what his opinion is. Luckily, my fiance and I are on the same page...when I asked him what color he wanted, he picked the same one I had chosen (yet hadn't told him about yet)!

Pink and silver would make an amazing color scheme. If those are the colors you like then use those. My friend used those colors and her pictures were amazing. I will try and put my pictures on my 360 page. Email me if you want to look at them and I will send them to you. Her wedding pictures were really nice with the pink and silver!!!

Congrats! my wedding is in march and I'm doing hot pink black and white. My dresses are black with white polka dots, and my girls are carryin hot pink flowers and I'm carrying hot pink roses. I also having these rhinestone spray things mixed all throughout my bouquet so it will be blingin! my cake is white with black polka dots and hot pink flowers, and im gaving hot pink gerbera topiaries in white and black polka dot containers (yea I have a polka dot thing goin!) the point is that so far, mines coming together beautifully, and silver would be a great accent to all of it, in fact all my flowers are gonna be misted with silver glitter. I'm really excited about the way mines turning out--Maybe you can use some of these ideas!

August is a hot month! Try going for a dusty rose since you like pink. Or perhaps dusty rose and antiqued silver. I would avoid black because of the temperature and white because of the stain issue.

Unless you use a bright pink I think "just pink' is not a "remember that wedding" picture. Silver/save that for your 25th anniversary!
Black/White save for great dinner party!
How about a rainbow wedding? I let my girls (all 12 of them!) choose their own style and colors. Everyone was happy! Did have the fellas choose their own style tux in black though.
Just my two cents.........August 25th of what year?

You should use white no matter what. If gothic or emo use black, if you are preppy use either white with light pink, light blue, or light yellow. If your huband has alot of in put use white and yellow.

Being that it will be in August, I would use pink(mainly for flowers, dresses, etc.) and then I would add in gold (decorations - candlestick holders, bows on chairs, etc..) then I would add a bit of green with ivy, or ribbons, etc.. have fun
