Burn your hair. Or go get some medicine that you can put in your hair like shampoo.

You don't want to help it - you want to get rid of it. Use NIX or another brand of lice treatment. It will kill the active lice. You also need a lice comb (or a nit comb) to get rid of the eggs. You should wash all bedding and clothing too, and be sure all family members are treated as well.

Go to your local WalMart or Kmart and get a lice kit. You have to comb out all the lice into a bowl of water (to kill them) and wash your hair with this special stuff. You need to wash and bleach all your clothes and sheets and clean your house thoroughly. Spray Lysol also.

Lice product or cover hair in petroleum jelly and shower cap for the night, wash well the next day. Be sure you get rid of all the lice and eggs in your house and on pets.

put vegetable oil on your hair, leave on for a few hours , then comb through your hair with a lice comb., repeat in about 7 days, i wouldn't recommend vaseline or petroleum jelly as i think some1 else said, its too hard to get out

buy some RID at the store, it is not expensive, years ago when my kids got it I did not clean their hair brushes and combs and we all ended up getting it, I am itching just remembering, we threw all that away and got new and bought new pillows too, I think we got a little carried away, but I would for sure use HOT water and a VERY strong cleaner on them for sure. Be sure anyone else that has used your comb or brush or lives close with you is checked too!
