I have the same color. I've done everything from a plum color (a deep burgandy) to a ronald mcdonald red. It depends on how fun you want it. But it should be an auborn color. More on the reddish side than brown if you want something simple and not so adventurous.

I think the blonde would be a porn star look, or a punk look, that's fine if that's the look you're going for. I'm getting my next ones done, I have LONG layers, my front bangs go to my chin, I'm getting those dyed a white/blonde color.

I'm VERY conservative too, except when it comes to my hair. I like to have fun, cause, hey, it's just hair, it will grow back, you can change the color.

If you have black hair, a colour that contrasts always looks best i think, as it's difficult to find a colour that will 'blend in' with black hair (like say blonde would, with light brown hair). Red would look good, if you want something natural-ish, and there are so many varieties and shades of red. Otherwise, go crazy with purple, blue or even green. With your hair colour you will be able to get away with it and it'll look good.

I'd ask a hairdresser to recommend something though, go through all the colours they have and ask them questions. That way you'll get the perfect colour.

do NOT get highlights! This is so common. If you've got beautiful natural black hair, this will be so much nicer than the same with a lot of highlights

Red, especially dark red, or about the color of your skin for a natural look.
Blue if you want a "raven-wing" look.
Or try purple, pink, or green for a really wild look.

i love the black/darkish brown. It seems more beneficial organic yet nonetheless very stylish. i understand you do not opt to guage with pictures, yet only a playstation your hair seems quite gorgeous even as straightened.

NOT BLONDE! LET ME REPEAT NOTTTTT BLONDEEEEEE
too many girls with really dark hair think that its ok to get "subtle" blonde hi/lowlights. it is not....at all.

get dark brown or maybe a deep red if you are adventurous.
