You can't lose weight because your body is fighting you as hard as it can in order to stay healthy. Honey, I don't want to sound rude or off-putting, but the truth is, if you lose that much weight your periods will stop, your hair will fall out, your skin will be bad, you will be sick all the time, and eventually you WILL die. Before you die everyone will stare at you with disgust at how thin and ill you are. Clothes won't fit, you won't have the energy to do anything fun, you will hate yourself. Don't kill yourself this way; it is not worth it. Why do you think you need to lose weight? Better to spend your time and money on things you enjoy rather than focus on something you don't like. You need counselling from someone with a lot of knowledge on eating disorders. Good luck.

If you are only 5 feet and weigh 103 pounds, you're CRAZY if you want to lose that much weight. All you're going to do is make yourself sickly looking...like anorexic and that isn't attractive at all...it looks disgusting to tell you the truth. You're body will stay at a level that it wants to stay at unless you do it unhealthy and again, you'll end up sickly looking. Stop worrying about your weight and ask a more realistic question. Sorry if that seems rough but c'mon. There are so many women who would love to be your size....don't ask questions like this and make them feel worse

You may need to see a dr tho its not like you are obese. Take a walk everyday or run, maybe join a gym but get moving everyday. Just eating better doesnt usually help anyone.

By the way, your weight loss goal is unrealistic. If you lose that much weight you are going to look like an anorexic freak.

You aren't losing more than a couple pounds because your body doesn't need to. You're at a good stable state for your body and it's going to take a heck of a lot of work to force it to do something is doesn't want to - which is lose weight. The weight loss you are hoping to achieve could cause damage to your body and your body is trying to prevent that.

Start to love yourself for who you are.

For someone of your frame (5 feet tall) and your age (JUST 13??) My biggest concern is your frame of mind. For someone your size and age to WANT to weigh LESS THAN 100 POUNDS?!?!?? Yeeeesh!!!

Not that anyone here in this forum (myself included) is QUALIFIED to give you appropriate dieting advice, you are a minor, making our lack of help to you especially so!!

Listen, when I was your age....now I had a weight problem....I was about 5'5 tall, 150-165 when I was around your age....That's a WWWWHHALE compared to your size (though I realize everyone's different) but even for a petite frame your stats are still pretty small.

My best guess is that you may be slim, but the soft, flabby kind of slim....I'm sure you've seen what I mean out there...Where, while their bodies may be (by all other definitions) slender, and are able to fit in skinny-sized pants, they still jiggle. Their frames are soft....mainly from lack of muscle tone.

Try lifting some weights.....and no, let me stop you, I DO NOT mean lifting weights heavy enough for the Hulk and NO you WILL NOT look like "Ah-nold" or dyke-ey as most women fear....

Lift just enough to give your body a challenge...no more, but no less....I think it's safe to assume you don't have much experience in that and that's ok.

Personally, IMO, #1) I HATE gyms and #2) I believe bodyweight exercises are far superior to lifting "traditional" gym weights anyhow.

So my best recommendation to you:
1) SEE YOUR DOCTOR (s/he may confirm that you don't even HAVE a "weight problem". Plus, only s/he can properly determine what kind of exercise your body is up for once s/he gives you a look-over. Don't let some anonymous internet creeps tell you what to do *LOL*
2)Run the bodyweight exercise thing by him/her and if s/he gives you the OK, add it to the exercise routine you should already be doing.
3)Go enter "bodyweight exercises" on a search engine and see what turns up.....Better yet, since you're new to this, let's keep it simple. The best basic 2 never-fail moves are hindu-pushups (also heard it be called "yoga-humping" *LOL*) and basic squats. Hindu pushup is starting with a downward-facing dog-like (yoga) position...on all fours with your head down and your bottom up. Then flow into a plank position (as if you were getting ready to perform a pushup) then back into dog again. Free Squats (kind of like a regular body weight squat, but as soon as you get down, roll on to your toes and stand upon the balls of your feet. AKA Hindu Squat or Indian Squat). Sure, sounds simple enough, but see if you can do 50 it'll kick your butt!!! Don't YOU do 50....not now anyway....that's also the beauty of bodyweight exercise...there are no "sets" or "reps" to adhere to...you stop when you feel you had enough. Don't be discouraged if you can't do that many at first....You're just preparing your body to get strong enough to do more! And get plenty of rest in between.

This will do wonders for not only muscle tone and metabolism, it'll also be a big boost to your everyday FUNCTIONAL strength!!
I wish you, not a smaller size or lesser weight, but BETTER HEALTH....oh, AND good luck ^_^ !!!

Mabe your body's telling you any thinner and you cross a line into unhealthy status. How old are you? Do you really want to weigh between 70-85 pounds? The only people who will be attracted to you are those who are attracted to young girls and boys. Don't you find that sick?

Man- calm down! Relax-I know, I know- try not eating much, drink plenty of water (yes- I said water), walk a lot, eat a lot of salad. Make this commitment like yr commitment to yr family/boyfriend/pets/job whatever. Keep active. Exercise- move yr body just like the girls on T.V. with the 1,2,3,4,------
It takes ACTION!
