The highest peak in N.A. is Mt. McKinley(20,320'/6194m)also called Denali, in the Alaska Range in the Us state of the same name. The longest and most extensive range in NA is the Rocky Mountains. Good luck

If you mean "tallest" by "largest", the answer is Denali, also called Mt. McKinley, in Alaska. It is 20,320 feet. If you mean "most massive", or "occupies the most volume" - this is a little more difficult to define, since it's hard to say where the base of a mountain ends, but since mountains are fractal shapes and are all more or less self-similar, I'd say Denali is still the winner.

Mount McKinley definitely. Denali is the name of the park in which McKinley is (I just drove through it this weekend). It's also the 2nd largest in the world.
