The best way is to purchase a pineapple corer/cutter. Otherwise, just cut the top & bottom off. Then, with the pineapple resting on the cut bottom, take a long sharp knife starting @ the top carfully cut the peel away. Then slice it into what ever thickness you want. If you have a small circle cutter you could probably use it to take the core out of each slice I guess, otherwise just eat around the slice avoiding the core.

Cut off the top of the pineapple.

Stand the pineapple on its side and cut the skin off of the sides in strips.Continue cutting strips around the pineapple until you have cut all of the skin off of it.Depending on how close you sliced when removing the skin you will most likely have some divits or "eyes" left, you can remove these with a mellon baller or potato peeler easily. After you are finished, you need to cut the core out as it is very hard. Enjoy!

First, cut off the top, and bottom. Then, using a good sharp knife start at the top and cut the skin off of the pineapple in strips from top to bottom. Once all the outer hard skin is off, cut the pineapple in half from top to bottom. Then cut those half's in half one more time. You now must remove the hard "core from each spear that you have just made. Once this is done, slice the strips into little pieces, and enjoy. Nothing beats a good jucy fresh ripe pineapple!

Chop of the top (plant it if you have a green thumb), chop off the bottom. Slice down the sides to remove the husk. Slice, dice or core the flesh. Pineapple only looks intimidating.
