Not all Christians do. Only catholics.
They use it for repeating prayers. Each bead represents a prayer and they are of different sizes. Each size represents a specific prayer. The small ones are for praying to the virgin Mary and the larger ones to recite the prayer that starts with "Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name...".
Also, it's a "rosary" not a "rosmary".

what is a rosmary?
What is descoration?
What is look look fancy?
By the way, Rosary beads are used by catholics to pray.
The beads are used to count prayers, you start with several 'Hail Marys', follwed by a couple of 'Our Fathers' then a 'glory be'.
(i think thats how it goes. Its been a long time since i last used Rosary beads.)

Rosemary is an herb. What you are referring to here is a Rosary. You can find detailed information about the Rosary, a Catholic tradition, at the sites listed in my references. The explanation would take too much space here.
Catholics do indeed consider themselves Christians, no matter what other denominations with their "corner on the truth" might say.
I hope this helps your understanding.

The only time, as far as I know, that Christians (along with everybody else) wear rosemary is in Australia and New Zealand, on Anzac Day, when they remember those who died in the two World Wars and other conflicts. Rosemary is traditionally a symbol of remembrance.

A rosary is a set of beads used to pray the Rosary, which is a meditation on the events of Mary and Jesus as found in the Bible.
It should not be worn as a fashion accesorry, but it can be worn as a sign of devotion.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Catholicism. Please ignore people such as Carol M or farmergirl. It is obvious they know nothing of Catholicism

Do you mean a rosary? Only Catholics have the rosary and I'm not sure what it is for. I think it has something to do with prayer. You should ask a Catholic. They'd be able to answer your question.
