Sense not " scense". Men will probably have to get a disease and while sowing their oats before they realize that dumped a good girl.

By good girl do you mean virtuous, honest, church going and all that and just decent. Religion section you posted in.
My guess would be that some guys may have low self esteem, haven't found themselves yet, never really sat down and analyzed what they wanted in a girl/woman. Or perhaps you being good and decent was looking the more serious direction to get married, and he wasn't.
I say if a guy doesn't know a good girl/woman with a good background, he isn't any good at all, so don't worry or fret about him. Find better.

1) Men don't realize they have something good until they have lost it.
2) Some men are only as faithful as their options at that minute. How else do you explain Hugh Grant cheating on Liz Hurley?
3) Some men will try to trade up. Many women only look for men in current relationships, so sometimes the best way to get women is to find one and date another while in the same relationship.

Um, I don't really think this is a religious question.
It's a matter of society. We all sabotage our selves. But, as is said in A Course In Miracles, only what you are not brining can be lacking in any situation. That, interpreted, means that you're drawing these types of guys to you. Experience is the fruit of thought. Sometimes we are programmed to sabotage ourselves in areas of romantic relationships, because of a scarred childhood with parents who fought, or believing that we aren't good enough to be accepted or believing the other person isn't good enough to be accepted-- it could be a myriad of things. All of these things contribute to our expectation level, which is generally subconscious.. and we bring this to every interaction we have with others. Our interactions are therefore colored with how we subconsciously believe they will turn out.
So, in short, instead of looking at others, look inside yourself to figure out where YOU went wrong. Other ppl will take care of themselves, but you can work out your own salvation through understanding your error.
I certainly think you're on the right road to introspection. You just have to continue in asking yourself the hard questions that few ppl have the courage to do.

Some do. And some women don't realize when they have a good guy either. Been there, done it--in both cases.

It's a man thing. Just like there are ways of women that are women things. We may never get that answer.

probably for the same reason so many female people (read that as an attempt at a neutral reference.... too many people read too much into "woman" or "girl" or "lady" or whatever) go after the bad boy's.

Why do good girls and bad go after guys they know will abuse them?
Find a "boring" good guy and you will see the difference (treat him good).
