I've never heard of their being such a thing as too much of that. It has none of the horrible effects that people in days gone by attributed to it. It depends on the individual and the contexts in which its done. It's healthy as a release for pent up tensions (especially to avert UNhealthy avenues of release), but could be psychologically unhealthy as a primary avenue of escape or denial of other problems. It's a gray area as far as I'm concerned.
