He is throwing another party when I told him he can't! Except the party isn't as wild as last time...
He thinks he'll be COOL if he throws parties all the time! And he always wants to be with his friends! I know that happens when he is his age, and I don't want to make him depressed by never letting him do parties and grounding him... how do I support his idea and keep it under countrol at the same time!!!??? What are some ideas for parties that are not crazy and won't get him in to mischief? How many cats should we invite, and what type of food and beverages??? I don't want this to be crazy, but I do want it to be fun for my cat! HELP PLEASE?

LOL!
Just tell your kitty that he can have one party a month, and you have to be there to supervise (just to make sure nothing is broken).
For food, tuna is always a big hit. Most cats also like chicken.
Milk in a saucer makes a great beverage, but be sure to have extra litter boxes handy, because it can cause diarrhea.
I would keep it to under 10 cats (easier to keep an eye on them)
Good luck with you and your cats! (I hate it when my dogs invite every dog on the block to their parties, and I come home after a long day's work and have to clean up after them)

Why not have a pizza party? Anchovies are tasty little fishies for cats. Or any kind of meat, for that matter. Some milk and catnip mice for party favors and an Egyptian theme. If you make the pizzas at home, make them triangular, like pyramids. Have over about ten cats (break out the Tidy Cat). They can play mancala, but don't be surprised if some of the cats run off with the pieces. You might, in fact, want to replace the stones with kibble to avoid an unpleasant trip to the stomach pump. Rent Cats and Cats and Dogs and maybe even The Truth About Cats and Dogs and you'll have a fun time. Maybe have a music video marathon for dance music and use cool ones featuring cats, like "Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul. And loosen up and have fun with your cat! Enjoy!

>Start out small, and work your way up to where you sense the limit. I would invite maybe three of his favourite cat friends for a cozy "tea party" to begin with.
If that works out well, maybe next time move it up to five cats. You might want to take note of unspayed or un-neutered cats before hand, so there are not any fights over females, or maybe over males.
If you can get some big cat castles, or cat gyms, and plenty of catnip and water to wash it down with, that's good. Creme is good, maybe milk or half and half or even skim for those on a diet.
Think of what music your cat is used to listening to. If you're not sure, go for light and mellow.

You might want to google "Calling All Pets," which is one of my favourite reference websites and radio programs concerning pet behaviour.

Sorry, can't help you, Max's (my young cat) parties always get out of control. The Blessyou (older one) is fussing for days afterward, about the noise and the fights and the wildness of it all! If your's goes well, let me know how you did it. Max would love permission to have a party!

Get a big dog and have it chaperon your cat. And tell the dog what your cat can do. And what He/She can not do. And how many friends He/She can have over too your house. Let Him/Her have some cat nip but don`t Let Him/Her have beer. Because beer is bad for a cat. And don`t let Hem/her over eat because He/She mite get sick and make a big mess on your rug. And if the cat does not want to let you do this. Than don`t let Him/Her have the party

Gemma, get a life. I don't give a d*mn if you are just kidding...to say what you just said makes me think you're heartless, nasty, and just plain IGNORANT.
And to AGGRESSIVE..if this is a joke...why is it on the PETS:CATS thread?
