I having a tough time moving on from my gf breaking up with me. I know she is with another guy right now. I dont ever call, email or txt her and I do not plan to. Right now it seems like I will not find anyone that made me feel like she did. My life is good as far as work goes but it's tough. I guess I just want to hear a story that confirms what everyone is telling me.... "it gets better", "you will find someone that makes you even happier" etc.

Im 34 now, ok? On my 21st birthday (the actual DAY), my girlfriend broke up with me!! The f*cking DAY, for another guy.
I went on a 6 month drinking spree, thought i was going to become an AA member soon. Then i met my now-wife at a graduation party.
Yeah, hearing people say, "Dude, it'll get better" sucks and means nothing when they say it. Ive BEEN there, trust me.
So, i'll say something different...
When you hit rockbottom, theres nowhere to go but up. It'll be alright, brother. Life throws curveballs, and this WILL make you stronger. Things happen for a reason, just have faith.

Oh it does get better believe me. I went through two very serious relationships and in retrospect I can see how bad they would have been for me. I'm SOOOOO happy that they ended...even though at the time I grieved like there would be no tomorrow. Just take it as a learning experience, one which will help you know better for next time around. You won't be picking the same type girl mark my words! That's what making mistakes are all about...that's how you find what is right.
Good luck...go out and have some fun...take it easy and light with the girls in the bar and just flirt...it will make you feel better.

Your problem may be the fact that u are looking for someone to make u happy. Seek out the happiness within. I have heard it said that one can not truly love another unless they love themselves first. Time heels all wounds and it does get better, hang in there and keep ur head up!

The nagging quits, you can do whaterver you want, more money, you will meet new girls (at least to have fun with them), less pressure.
I was on the same boat (although I still miss her), but it is a matter of time. Nothing else will work, only time.
