It is a one owner vehicle, according to the salesman, and it has a number of problems. A 1995 T100 Toyota. The one owner vehicle shows 5 title transfers. It has problems, which means that I have problems. I need to know previous owners as it was supposed to have 37,000 miles on it when I bought it.

Go to the salesmen and ask him for a CarFax report. If not then go to www.carfax.com and you have to pay 24.99 to get one sent to you. Carfax reports tell you all the owners who've had it, any reported accidents its been in, any indication of the mileage being messed with, stuff like that.

The salesman should offer to run you a Carfax Vehicle Report. If you already own the vehicle you can go to Carfax's webstie and pay a small fee to run the VIN yourself.
