I'm just wondering how to, if it's safe and if it works!

This is definitely a safe methods of tooth whitening, although, it does taste quite yucky.
Baking soda has been recommended for this for many years, (before all of the bleaching methods and whitening tooth pastes) and is also good to keep bad breath in check.
The results are minimal compared to the newer methods but it will not hurt your enamel or cause sensitivity.

I used baking soda on my teeth all the time in high school. I just put the baking soda on my toothbrush then rinse with peroxide. I then brushed with my regular toothpaste. It kept them extremely white. I would still do it if i wasn't a mom and had a little more time to put into my teethbrushing session.

Baking soda is a mild abrasive. To use on your teeth, mix a couple of drops of water with about a quarter sized amount of the baking soda and brush your teeth with the 'paste'. Should remove stains.

yes it does work but takes a long time. Just dip your toothbrush into the baking soda and brush just like you do with toothpaste.

You brush your teeth with it but don't swallow, it is not good for your teeth on a regular basis, it is an abrasive. Use something from the store that specifically says it will whiten teeth.

First put some toothpaste onto your toothbrush, then dip it into some baking soda, and brush like normal.

WORKS GREAT FOR STAINED TEETH. I MIX BAKING SODA WITH PEROXIDE AND THEN BRUSH WITH A WHITINING TOOTHPASTE.
TRUST ME GOOD REMEDY FOR STAINED TEETH AND YOUR TEETH WILL GLEEM AND YUM YOUR BREATH WILL BE FRESH AND CLEAN. DONT FORGET TO BRUSH YOUR TONGUE. DO NOT INJEST.
