You can get married anytime and anyplace you want to. All you have to do is find someone who is licensed in the state to perform the marriage and pay them to perform the ceremony. You would need to talk to your pastor to find out if he would marry you. Some pastors require a year's notice, they want to meet with both of you before they will agree. Good luck.

Yup. Any ordained minister can legally perform weddings. Your pastor will probably ask for a donation which will go to operating the church. Sometimes they have a suggested donation amount. Your pastor will almost certainly be willing to perform the ceremony wherever you guys choose. You will need 2 witnesses regardless of who performs the ceremony. You'll also need to get a marriage licence ahead of time. Good luck with it!

yeah sure. As long as someone who can marry people marry's you... then its fine- Some parks, though you need a permit, and those can be around $200- so someones back yard might be best. A paster is probably going to do it for free, just ask for a gratuity... (maybe $50-100?) and they always do it on the weekends. Just make sure to start planning now- or there might not be anything available. Oh- you also need a witness besides the pastor...

You can get married from anyone that is certified. As long as your pastor is free and doesn't require you to go through this marriage counseling, which my fiance and I are having to go through. So, you might really want to get a hold of someone you have in mind and see if the pastor requires that. And normally pastor's don't require money but you should give them a complimetary pay. Especially if he is going to marry you with short notice.

so he won't be in town soon enough for you both to get to the courthouse before they close right? Guess you'd better plan on doing this another weekend because you both have to be present to get the marriage licence! And you have to get it at the courthouse! Good luck!

Of course it can......millions of people get married on Saturdays.....and yes, your pastor can do it if he's not already busy.....but honestly, what's the rush? I know you're "in love", but you'll still be in love months and years from now if he's the right person. The divorce rate is way too high (50%) as it is.........no offense, but you sound a little immature......

Try a justice of the peace or a notary public. As far as I know, both can preform the ceremony at little cost to you.

Congratulations.
P.S.
That's the way my husband and I did it over 25 years ago and it has worked for us. Got married on our lunch hour on a Friday afternoon. Didn't even tell our friends....

In most states you need proof of a blood test PRIOR to marriage. Otherwise, NO entity will marry you. You sound very confused and I cannot imagine why, as all this information is readily available. Why are you in such a hurry? Rhetorical.

you will also need the license. That you may need to get a few days in advance. Call the courthouse again.
