How come no girls like me?

Question

I'm not an asshole like many guys are and I think I'm good looking and definitely not ugly. Also, I'm not a nerd or fat or anything like that but it seems like no girls are interested in going out with me or anything like that. Is there a reason or no?

Ok I know its not all about looks but you'd be lying if you said thats not important at all...

And I've talked to girls that enjoy being friends with me but dont want to ever go out with me

And to say I only look at "hot Britney Spears-type girls"... you are very ignorant and I'd rather have a decent looking girl with a good personality than a hot girl whos stupid.

How do you know no girls like you?? Maybe you aren't looking hard enough. Start loving yourself first, the others will love you back. Insecurity is a big turn off too, a woman wants to feel protected. So work on some self-esteem and you'll have girls falling all over you and then you won't know what to do.. good luck!!

Hmm... Depends, do you talk to them? Women judge men on a lot of things, while men go on looks a bit more. There's actually some evolutionary thing where guys look at a woman to see her proportions and how good of a mother she'd make, but women judge a guy on how good of a father and provider he'd make based on wealth and personality and so on. If your basic good looks are okay, that shouldn't be bad. But I judge a guy on his voice, since I love choir and every girl has a different pet peeve like that. So try talking to them and getting more female friends who actually know you. If they're not into you, then ask them, because they would know a lot more from actually meeting you than anyone here would.

Well, being as all I know about you is what I see in your question -- there are a few possibilities:

1) There are some girls who like you, but you're missing the signals;

2) There's something off about your approach - something I can't tell from here.

No female friends? Start there. Guys who know how to hang with female friends are more attractive to other girls - you know the guy respects women, enjoys their company, doesn't treat them disrespectfully (because the friends wouldn't be his friends if he did).

There are definitely differences between boys and girls, and I don't mean the obvious. Difference in how they interact, for one thing. It's a generalization, but it's still got some truth to it.

I'm married now, and my husband was once my friend (still is, but of course, it's changed). I saw how he treated the women in his life (family, friends) with respect. He seemed to value them as people, as friends, and as women. Enjoyed the company of men, and the company of women, appreciated the differences and enjoyed those. Verrrrry attractive.

Plus, your female buds know other girls, and can introduce you around.

Seems like your first shot is to find some girls you have things in common with (after all, there are girls who like basketball and fixing cars, and girls who like museum and plays), hang with them, learn to listen, be comfortable with them, develop friendships.

Of course, if you've already done this and you have lots of female friends, it's time to ask them to tell you where you're going off track. Just make sure you LISTEN to the answers with an open mind - no defensiveness, no excuses.

Attitude has a lot to do with it.

Women can tell if a guy thinks that no one wants them.

Try going out to lunch (as friends) with a variety of women...whether they are your "type" or not. Other gals will see that and think...wow, there must be something special about that guy since so many different women wanna be around him. Little do they know those women are just your friends.

If necessary, look at some celebs who look like you and pick up on their style and mannerisms which closely resemble yours.

They paid someone to fine-tune their style. You can copy to some degree thier style...for free...and appear suave...and still be U...yet refined!

Sooner or later, a gal will start making herself known to you and try to get your attention.

Be cool and calm and don't act like a giddy school girl.

Smile at her occasionally and reel her in slow.

It's like catchin' fish...for those sports minded people.

Well, act like yourself. Flirt a little, take showers and brush your teeth, this helps. Don't be afraid to tak to them, get the nuts and just do it.....ask every girl out you like...you'll get one.
