I personally feel that the most likely scenario is that life was brought here from another planet by highly advanced beings (God/gods, and the angels). They most likely seeded earth's primordial sea with primitive bacterial life forms. As dry land appeared, they proceeded to experiment with genetic engineering of more advanced life forms, culminating with the creation of the human species.

Here is a fascinating little factoid: we share 50% of our DNA with a banana.
Yes, the recently expanded understanding and mapping of DNA is so very interesting and explanatory, just fascinating.

length of days in Genesis. No thank you to challenge that considering Genesis is a mythological fantasy, not a actual experience. The earth got here into being slightly greater suitable than 4,500 million years in the past. the commonest youth (in all probability equivalent to cyanobacteria that are nonetheless around) got here to be approximately 3,800 million years in the past. the 1st animals to project out of the seas onto land have been slightly greater suitable than 500 million years in the past. human beings and present day apes are the two descended from an identical historical ancestors. Who is to say that's evidence for a common ancestor or a common designer?
If you look at one building, then look at another similar building that used 98.5% of the same materials to build it. Would it not be logical to suspect that they were designed by the same person or at least the same group of architects?

I think evolution makes more sense than a god coming from nothing and creating more something from nothing. I also believe the spontaneous generation theory was disproved some time ago.

Why do peopleinsist on lumping science and religion under one umbrella headline? Evolution is science, religion is history and semantics.
