I'm trying to make my game Zuma Deluxe easier with a cheat code. Read these directions and PLEASE tell how to do this.

Easier levels:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file;
create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text
editor to edit the "levels.xml" file in the "\zuma
deluxe!\levels\" folder. Scroll down about halfway until
you see the following line:
score="1000" repeat= (etc…)
"lvl11" means level 1-1. If you want to slow down the
speed of the balls for this level, change the speed value from
"0.5" to "0.2". If you are stuck on a higher
level (for example, level 12-7), go down a few more lines to where
"lvl127" appears, then change its speed value to "0.2".
Note: Do not confuse the "lvl11" line above with the
"level11" line in the same file.

Thank you!! :D

I don't need extra cheats. I wanna know how to do this. Plus, it's been 2 1/2 years that I've been trying to beat this freakin game!

hello

Easier levels:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file;
create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text

deluxe!\levels\" folder. Scroll down about halfway until

Note: Do not confuse the "lvl11" line above with the
"level11" line in the same file.

Level select:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file;
create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text
editor to edit the "levels.xml" file in the "\zuma
deluxe!\levels\" folder. Scroll down near the bottom until
you see the following line:

stage1 = "spiral,claw,riverbed,targetglyph,blackswirley"
diffi1 = "lvl11,lvl12,lvl13,lvl14,lvl15",etc...
Change the level name to your choice. For example, to change Dark
Vortex, Level 1-5, to Spiral of Doom, change "blackswirley"
to "spiral". To find out what name corresponds to what
level, look in "cached_thumbnails" in the same folder
and switch to filmstrip view in Windows Explorer, in "Views"
on the top, by "Folders". It will show a large picture
at the top and thumbnails at the bottom.

UFO:
Move the mouse pointer over the following options (in
order) at the main menu: "Adventure", "Gauntlet",
"Options", "More Games", "Quit",
"Adventure", "Gauntlet", "Options",
"More Games", "Quit", "Adventure",
"Gauntlet", "Options", "More Games",
"Quit".
Trainer: All gauntlet mode levels unlocked by TNT
Trainer: Slow ball movement by Gospodar
Trainer: +1 v1.0 by CPHV
Trainer: +1 v1.0.0.1 by DEViOUS

First make a back-up of the game, so if you want to make the game normal again you don't have to re-install

Open the game file location, which is usually in
C:/Program Files/Zuma Deluxe/Levels

Then scroll down until you find levels file, open it using a text editor (probably not MS word 2013, it will give you problems)

When you open the file you will see the location for the coin to appear in levels, scroll down until you see the settings id on the left side, then scroll down a little more until you see;
and so on...
now these things mean
lvl11 is level 1-1
lvl12 is level 1-2

so find the level you're having trouble with, and change its settings
"speed" is the speed of the balls move
"start" determines where the long the balls are when the level begins
"score" is the score needed for the orange bar to fill
"repeat" is how much the balls are grouped
'''firespeed" is how fast your shot will move
and
"powerfreq" is the frequency of the COIN not power up
