liver is most likely to recover if it does (extent of injury determines likelihood of recovery) brain and heart tissue are least likely to recover, since they do not regenerate as the liver does, good luck

Depending on the type of damage. The liver is a highly functional organ and receives the most blood flow than any other organ which puts it in good standing for recovery. However, depending on the extent of the damage (hep c, cirrhosis, hepatocellular disease) it is possible the liver can not repair itself. Full recovery from a stroke or heart attack is also dependant upon type/duration and many other factors. Most things in medicine are not black and white.

A liver is the only organ that regenerates itself so I suppose given enough time you could recover from liver disease. You could also have a liver transplant, as yet we do not have brain transplants (thank goodness!)

The liver has remarkable powers of regeneration. The others do not.
