In reality there are plenty of legal immigrants whom need work and even without the legal immigrants there are agricultural machines that could do most of the work if not all. They don't utilize them becasue it is cheaper to hire an illegal if they can get away with it...as corrupt as that is.Poor Illegal aliens are not the backbone of America,,they don't do the jobs that American's won't..they do the jobs that Americans CAN'T get hired to do because they are a citizen...there is a difference. illegal immigration is decaying the economy and social services of this nation...enough is enough..no more pity for illegals

What you said is exactly right (fact). Big business likes illegals to expand their profit margins and that's about it. Actually this country exploits them to the hilt. But then again they exploit this country too by taking welfare and working under the table. Ah must be nice. No they are NOT doing jobs Americans don't want, that's propoganda put out there by lobbiests sympathic to their cause. I mean who did the jobs b/4 they got here?? Exactly, Americans. I think this issue is going to blow up in the next decade when it starts effecting more people and not just border states. Its going to be the hottest issue ever in the history of the U.S. - way bigger than "terrorism". I just know it. Eventually democracy will prevail-till then...keep fighting the good fight.

I agree. I do feel for them but if they want to come to the US then they should do it the right way, become a US citizen and learn the language. They are taken advantage of by those big companies that work them hard and pay them very little for their hard work. I guess if people would stop hiring illegals then they may stop coming over in droves. I guess it's time to build the wall. to respect both them and us.

well cuz' they do as Americans seek better opportunities in the urban areas in more "sophisticated" work areas such as services ., the fields are more dependents upon immigrants whether legal or illegal and since the visa programs restrict the menial jobs seeker those who are willing to work in the fields do it illegally because their lack of education and inability to comply with the requirements

This country really needs these people, would you be out picking cherries, strawberries, etc. Hell "NO" some mexican are legal in this country and don't mine doing the work. But now in day you see more and more people improving. Getting an education.

I dont know, but I know that they cost tax payers more for paying for their education, welfare services, wic, housing, and hospital bills, than they do picking lettuce. I'd rather pay more for a head of lettuce than to continually pay everything for them. People dont realize how much money illegal aliens impose on tax paying citizens.
Illegals haven't always been here...so who was picking the damn lettuce them, obviously not them!

I don't, They suck money from Americans that need it. Health care money is wasted on people that don't pay taxes or legally belong hear.
Put 200 solders with Barrett 50 cal rifles on the Mexican border and see how many still try to cross after the 1st one gets their melon blown off.

OK... so why don't you go and get a machine and do your agricultural job. USA problems are not the illegal people and you know it. You should be more concerned :everything is made in China for example...
By the way everytime they buy something they pay taxes too. They don't have benefits. DUH!
