Whenever I stand up the right hand side of my body feels weak. It only last a few seconds but I feel very weak down the right hand side. My vision has become more blurred recently and these attacks were once occasional but are now happening everytime I stand up and I am starting to feel unsteady.

You need to see a doctor, no one can take guesses at what is the cause of your problems, but you do need to see someone.!!

A weakness of one side of body plus a vision symptoms is a sure sign for u to straight away go to the doctor. It might just be a simple pressure problem, or it call be a warning of a more serious condition. As i don't see u and doesn't know of ur health history, i can't tell for sure. Age is a factor, the older u r, more dangerous it is. Other things to consider is if u have any illnesses prior to this ie. hypertension, diabetic, coagulation problem, r u on any medication, have u experienced any trauma in ur head, etc.
About ur blurred vision...is the vision blurred suddenly, or is it like a 'curtain-fall' in front of ur eyes? If the latter, most probably it's a warning symptoms for stroke.
U should get treated immediately, regardless of the illness u get, as this involved neurological symptoms.
Not to worry, early diagnosis and treatment will assure u to have better prognosis, and good outcome.
Positive thinking is a key to good health....

Maybe pressure in you head, could be as simple as sinus pressure but could be more serious. Weakness on one side of the body is a serious side effect. I would seriously consider a quick trip to the doctor. If it worsens a trip to the ER wouldn't hurt. Better safe than sorry!

Go see your GP a.s.a.p., yes it could be a stroke, but it could be many other things not as serious, but you need ot know and deal with it to be on the safe side. Some times it the worry about it, makes it seem worse, so find out first!!! May not be anything to worry about at all.

I can think of 12 things that could cause this. Many of them are fatal - go to an ER at once. If you have no money get treated and then blow off the bill. You only got one life - GO RIGHT NOW

Go to the ER, you could have had a stroke, or you may have orthostatic hypotension. Either way you need to get checked out.
What concerns me is that you are having one side affected. It may be that the other episodes, were TIA's or mini- strokes that you recovered from.Take an aspirin and go to the ER.

AS far as I can understand you are NOT having a stroke, it could be ear infection, or too much pressure, tiredness etc.. go to the docs and have the necessary tests.
