I guess you read different newspapers from me!
The UK is still a very civilised, tolerant country, and apart from a few hotheaded protesters (mainly fundamentalist Muslims at the moment), we Brits do not usually go around starting civil wars. We did that in the 17th Century and do not feel it necessary to start another.
In the UK, if you are dissatisfied with the way things are going, you can try to change matters via the democratic process, and if you feel really fed up you can emigrate.
Of course, some small, but vociferous groups would like to make the UK into a religiously rigid regime, but that will never happen. Back in the 1930s the Fascists tried to establish themselves as a ruling party - but they were soon quashed. And the same will go for fundamentalists of any strain, now or in the future.
If you think this country is about to 'explode into uncontrolled violence' then you are living in a different country from me. Try some of the South America or African countries if you want to know about violence in society - I think you'd soon change your view after a few days in Somalia or Columbia!

We learned from past mistakes that civil war was not the answer. Ta-ta Oliver Cromwell! What a fool he was! Want to replace him with another? Or look at Russia - what good did their Revolution do them? It only seems to work in South America. So, move there, and start a new revolution, or else bite the tongue that frees you and wait for a better way.

You will not get any pedantic pensioners out at night - they are too frightened of the feral youths, so no civil war tonight at least.
