I am happy to hear you have met someone that loves you. If he loves you it won't matter if you lose weight or not and hopefully he would tell you that he would rather love you at the weight you are...and alive then skinny and dead. Plus if you starve yourself for sixty days- then take a month off and do it again if you aren't dead by then then you will most likely gain it all back in that month. So I am not sure what the point is.

If you want to lose some weight to be healthy you need to talk to your parents who can take you to the doctor or can help you find a nutritionist that can put you on a food and exercise plan. And this isn't a lecture and I am not being sarcastic but they may be able to find you someone to talk to to help you understand why a this is a terribly terribly destructive and unhealthy plan that no boy is worth and b) how something like this can set the tone for the rest of your life and a continued struggle with dieting and having your self-esteem and self-worth be tied in to your weight.

Please be good to yourself and choose another plan.

The worst thing you can do is starve yourself! You will lose more weight by eating more times a day but less per meal. In other words, eat small portions 5-6 times a day. The key is also eating the right kinds of foods. You need to eat nutrient rich foods such as veggies and fruits. Stay away from processed foods like chips, candy and other high sugar foods. Also, stay away from white breads and pastas. The fruits and veggies will provide your body with the necessary nutrients and phytonutrients that your body needs to stay healthy. By changing the way you eat to a more nutrient rich lifestyle, you'll live a much healthier and happier life. Also, add some exercises 3-4 times a week. It doesn't have to be very structured as long as you do something.
Starving yourself could cause health complications that will make you being overweight a non-issue in comparison. Please don't do that.

Hi. 2 years ago I was in a situation like u. I was overweight too, & wanted to lose almost a hundred pounds too. I had a paperroute, so I walked 30 minutes a day, and ate twice a day. I lost 60 lbs in 6 months. I drank water instead of soda (give up soda completely & you'll lose weight!), and stayed away from junk food. Trust me, starving yourself is NOT safe. Instead, as someone else said, your body will go into STARVATION mode, so it will think you're starving. Your body will use your fat to keep you alive, so you will not be losing fat, you'll lose most of the water in your body, body tissue, and muscle. Why would you want to do that? Basically to lose weight, you need to exercise and diet. You could lose 10 lbs in a month if you do it the right way, and by the time school ends, you'll look much better. If you starve yourself, you'll only look sick, you'll have NO energy to work out, and you'll be in a bad mood the majority of the time because you'll feel sick. Your skin will sag, your eyes will look droopy, and more than likely you'll break out in pimples from stressing out over being starved. Plus, you could be dead. Want to hear of a miracle product? Try 100% Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar..take a tablespoon in water before every meal. It works. But make sure it's organic. Try going to a health food store to get that stuff. Normal supermarkets will not carry the organic stuff. I'm warning you, it tastes bad though. But seriously, it works. Try adding lemon to it or green tea to mask the taste. What the apple cider vinegar does is it burns stored fat. It curbs your appetite, and gives you energy. If you don't want to buy the liquid stuff, try the apple cider vinegar in tablet form. But really, stay away from soda and drink 10 glasses of water a day, and you will see amazing results! Weigh yourself only once a week, same day every week otherwise you'll grow discouraged if you find yourself not losing anything right away. That way u have something to look forward to. If you find this helpful, let me know..please email me if you want more questions from me. Femaleopard@hotmail.com or add me to msn messenger at the same address.

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

If you were able to loose that much weight do you have any idea what you would look like. Assuming you would survive the 60 days, and it is a big if, you would not be rid of all the fat you have around your middle. By that I mean your skin on your tummy would be hanging around your knees.
Don't believe it. Well you should because it happens all the time.

If you don't eat for two months you are truly taking a chance of loosing more than pounds. Depending upon your general state of health you could die from any number of things.

The human body requires that we feed it to stay healthy. If we over eat we get fat.

When you see advertisements about I lost xxx lbs in so much time, what you are not seeing is the extra things they have to do to look that good.

No boy or man is worth risking your health and life over. Go on a diet if you must but please eat. I can tell you this....he would much rather come and see that your overweight than to you funeral and it is possible.

DON'T DO THIS.....

When you starve yourself, your body thinks you are literally starving, and it then conserves fat. You will lose muscle tissue, even bone tissue before the body will let go of the fat. Dieting that way is ineffective and dangerous and you gain it all back in the end. But, instead of getting back the muscle you've lost, you get it back in fat. Much harder to lose later.
The good news is, you have eight months. You can safely lose ten pounds a month and be at your goal of 80 pounds in 8 months. Eat 1200 calories a day, in a balanced diet, and exercise for 20 minutes at least three times a week. You will lose ten pounds a month. Good idea to see your family doctor and enlist his help. Do it right, do it smart and you wont be sorry.

First of all,I hope that you know that starving yourself for 60 days is foolish. Not only would you get real sick because you are depriving your body of nutrition but it could kill you.No one and I mean no one is worth putting your body through that torture. If you want to lose weight, you need to do it natural and safe with proper diet and exercise and only for yourself, not for someone to like you. If the boy can't like you for yourself, then you don't need him and he would be doing you a big favor. I know this is not the information that you wanted to hear but I'm telling you this because I care about you you as a human being and that your life should be seen as precious because there is only one of you and you got your whole life ahead of yourself,so look within your inner beauty and you will go far in life.

Starving yourself is not a very good way to lose weight. Seriously---I'm speaking from experience. I was 14 once...just like you...wondering how I could lose weight quickly.

For one....If you were to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time, there are things that will happen to your body. Your period will become irregular. You will be tired...extremely tired & weak. Your hair & nails will also become extremely thin & brittle. Some girls even start to develop excess body hair--it's your body's way of trying to make up for the fat it's losing.

Another thing to think about...you shouldn't change yourself for someone else. Big big mistake. I know how you feel...really. You want to rush into love...you want to have this long lasting relationship with a man who adores you and loves you. But, sweetie, that just doesn't happen in real life. I've been there. I've starved myself to look 'better'....I've convinced myself that someone 'loved' me enough to deserve sex from me....I've been cheated on...I've been hurt....I've cried and cried...I've been ignored, abused & neglected all at the same time...I've feared I wasn't "pretty" enough.

Please, don't starve yourself. Don't change yourself for anyone. It's really really difficult, but you have to strengthen yourself first--before you worry about love or boys or whatever. Don't let men....or your body image determine who you are. You are a beautiful, strong, WOMAN--you have all the power in the world at your fingertips. Did you know, that the #1 thing that men find attractive in women is confidence? Not boobs...not weight...but having strong self-esteem. With self confidence you can do anything...be anyone...have any boy you want and be treated the way you want.

I promise...I've been done the exact road you're on. My life didn't get better until I realized my potential to be a powerful, strong & confident woman.

new relationships are always a bit nervewracking and you want to be perfect, so just take it one step at a time and stay healthy and those extra lbs will come off faster than you think! your man is very lucky to have a girl that wants to look so good for him but i'll bet he doesn't want you to starve yourself when you have plenty of time to look good AND be healthy.

not eating for 60 days will shut down your organs and you will die. try eating lots of fruits and veggies, high fiber cereal twice a day, chicken and fish, drinking tons and tons of water and walking for 30 minutes a day.

80 lbs in 8 months is about 2 lbs a week, maybe a bit more... thats a very very good goal and is perfectly healthy so there's no need to starve yourself! it's not like you only have 8 weeks! 8 months is PLENTY of time to lose the weight WITHOUT starvation.
