I'm doing a test and need to know the average travel time for driving around the M25. Does anyone know? Also I need to state the website the info came from, so if you can find the answer please let me know the web address as well. Thanks. I can't seem to find anything on it.

The M25 is just over 121 miles. So in the middle of the night you could do it in just under 1 hour 45 minutes. In the rush hour, with no major hold ups, it used to take me1.5 hours to go from A12 to M4 which is about half way round.

The M25 is approx 125 miles long - the regulatory speed on British motorways is 70 mph.

But generally the Brits drive a lot faster than that when they can.

Unfortunately - the M25 is one of the busiest roads in the World and sometimes (Friday evening) the whole thing grinds to a stop!

I've been round it in one hour twenty minutes but then I have also taken two hours to go from one junction to the next!

Regards

Steve
