Another question for christians.
If your body, and this world really mean nothing in the grand scheme of your soul, then why are some sent to hell after only a few years of having flesh?
If you accept Jesus with your soul, then why can't you accept Jesus while your soul is in hell?

You can't .... You had your chance while living on earth...

Romans 10:16-18 "16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world."

Hello
There is no Hell to a Christian who believes what the Bible says. The literal meaning of hell in the Bible is a grave, not a place of torment.A place where the dead go. God told Adam from the earth you came and to the eart you will return. The belief in an after life is a pagan teaching dating back to acient Babylon.
Also the soul which they talk about is a miss reading. The soul is our flesh. God said the soul that is sinning will die. This is just one of many examples.
So please do not look at all Christians in the same way. There are many imposters out there.
Thank you for your time

We get the chance to accept Christ while we are on earth. There is an age of accountability, which can differ from person to person, but usually between 5 and 12 years old. The Lord (Jesus) gives us opportunities to accept Him in our lives, when our time is up we can not change our mind. Hell is not just punishment for the wicked, it is where we go if we chose to reject Jesus and what He did for us. Even Satan and his fallen angels believe in God and Gods power, it takes more to be a Christian. If we ask forgiveness and accept it, then get to know God through prayer and studying the Bible. Believe that Jesus came and died on the cross for your sins and you are saved. Then you should go to a Bible preaching church and fellowship with other believers. Learn all you can and pass it on to others. Everything after death is final, we can change our lives only while living. If it worked the way you are asking it to why would anyone want to do good? If we could save ourselves after we died why would Jesus, who was perfect and sinless, have had to die for us? The simple answer is 'no', you can not be saved if you go to hell.

Nobody dies unless they're enlightened and make a decision for or against Christ. We know this from John 1:9.

The body is our interface with this three dimensional environment. When our body dies, our entire awareness will be the dimension of God. Time is not a relevant characteristic in the dimension of God, time is only relevant in a three dimensional environment.

When we leave this time/space dimension, we enter into the dimension of God at a place or a level, not at a time. You can enter at the great white throne of judgment, or you can enter at the reward seat of Jesus Christ. There is no other alternative.

Once fully aware of the repercussions of our decisions, there can be no more mind changing. 2 Cor 5:8 says: "to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

At your death you will immediately be before God and your eternal destiny determined.

There is no "purgatory". It's a done deal, and it's the end of time for you.

Eternity is a long time. Pack well.

Hell is the sentence received after the final judgment. There will be no "trial" after your sentencing, no appeals, no nothing. That is it.

That is what is so scary about the idea of eternity in this place. Forever is a lo-o-o-o-o-o-ong time.

If those who have chosen to believe in Jesus Christ are incorrect, then they have lost nothing, they will simply die and be no more.

But if the believer in Jesus Christ is correct and the unbeliever is wrong... Then the unbeliever has lost everything!

It is really worth it to at least give Jesus a good looking into. Read the Bible today, for tomorrow is not ours to take, but only His to give.

After the Lord comes and christians leave with him, there is a period of time that those still living here will have a chance to be saved by excepting him, but he says that it will be so hard on them to turn to him that just so many will make it. Because of that those that do will be blessed above all.

No one truly understands God's plan for everything, but I personally think that God loves us all and wants us to be happy so he would only send someone to hell who would be beyond redemption. And yes, God knows if someone is capable of accepting Jesus. He does NOT make mistakes.

No. Hell is eternal torment, just as the Bible says. Even if you could accept salvation while in hell, you wouldn't want to. Because Hell is absolute separation from God, it is therefore absolute separation from everything that is of God - Hope, Love, Faith, Virtue. In Hell you would experience total hatred of everyone and everything - yourself, the other damned souls who are with you, and most of all God - so the last thing you would desire is to be with Him.

When people like you ask a question about my faith and I answer using the reference that gives me the information you desire you get upset saying that I am throwing the Bible at you... Do you want to know or are you going to cringe if I tell you what I really believe? Jim

I think it might be inconsequential. People who choose God go to Heaven and people who choose to rebel against God go to Hell. They may suffer in Hell, but they're hearts are hardened and would constantly turn down God's gift after death just like they did in life.
