Why don't Christians, Muslims, and Jews realize that their religions are so similar?

Why are they so ignorant to this fact and they hate each other vehemently, when, aside from the divinity of Jesus, their beliefs are quite the same! I think the reason they wrongly think their religions are so different from each other is because their politicians and clerics are brainwashing them by filling their minds with lies to keep them controlled!

Aw, come one people! You've been brainwashed too, it appears! It's all a political ploy! The oldest trick in the book. The oppressors (goverments, clerics, etc.) make people ignorant by telling them lies so they can continue to control the masses and line their pocketbooks with lots of cash! It's all about corruption, power, and money!

It is ignorant to say they are different, because they are the same in MANY ways!! Just go read and compare, damn, some of you on here are so ignorant, you've fallen for the ploy they want you to fall for!

They talk about the same God, have many of the same events in them, such as Noah's Ark, Adam and Eve, the plight of Moses, etc, the list goes on and on! They all believe in judgement day and being punished in hell or rewarded in heaven, the all describe God the same way, by contradictions...they are about 99% similar. The only differences concern Jesus being a prohet or divine and Mohammed being a prophet, etc.

Georgette: I have read them, yes, and I have been around people that are these relgions all my life. I have common sense, unlike you, and I have seen the truth, that THEY ARE VERY SIMILAR. I can't agree with you that most people are ignorant of the beliefs of the three religions you mention. In this day and age people read and hear on television a lot about the different beliefs.
You say members of the different religions hate each other, but there's just as much hatred within the religions, Catholic and Protestant, Sunni and Shiite, Orthodox, and Reformed.
What exactly are you suggesting ? One big church ? Call it the Mono Church, iron out the differences, and all think alike ?

I think for the reason their religions are so similar is the cause of friction, they are competing over the same souls, keeping those they have and converting either the people from the other side or their resources.
Putting things in historical context, Christianity has been more ferocious and intolerant than Islam has ever been. The Jews and Muslims co-existed very happily in Spain and the middle East. Their conflict only arose since the founding of Jewish state of Israel. Christianity however was responsible for the wholesale massacres of Muslim and Jewish communities during the Crusades. The jewish pogroms in Russia had at least tacit approval from the orthodox church, not to mention the Nazi concentration camps.

All 3 [3] beliefs have vast inquiries to respond to. One I have is what did Moses, Jesus and Muhammed look like. Who did their pics or took the images. all something is man made, guy ruled and a lot remark. at the same time as evidence is geared up that Moses parted the sea, and that Jesus changed into more beneficial than only a guy and Muhammed, a guy, did not start up the Quran in a cave, is the day i will trust and devour my shorts. each and each of the controversy in right here's only refusal to renowned that others position self belief in something diverse. Hindu, Buddhist, Tao, what number Gods did you recognize there are being prayed to each and each damned day in this international. all of your arguments and civil discourse is going round like the horses contained in the round and sucks the existence out of residing. Muslims do know their religion is close to Judaism and Christianity. We know it for a fact. We believe in Moses and Jesus. We believe that they were sent down with holy books. But, the real christianity and real judaism has change, and now they are becoming unsimilar

Corruption,power, and money is the key things that are making these religions fight against each other.

Why do you think they are similar? Have you studied any of them? One study will take a lifetime. How many lives do you have? I have put 10 years intensively into studying religions, and I can tell you they are very different. These religions are different at the core. Not any of them has the same god at heart. That's crucial! Why do you want to unite all religions?
Did you ever stoop to study the Quran, or the Bible?? or whatever other source of inspiration for those religions?
First of all it should be illegal that Muslims appear in the same sentence with the other religions... I will not name them cuz I will break my own rule.
The God of Christianity isn't the same god Muslims claim as god or worship, cuz if it were He would tell everyone the same thing, not tell Muslims to kill all others. There I broke my own rule. Jews and Christians have the same God, except they differ on the issue of Messiah.
The rest is a false prezentation of the Christian God, for the purpose of accomplishing their own goals. It has worked for centuries. And especially for their male population... It's more of a control issue, than anything else.

I think you only point out one aspect in which they seem similar, but so are human beings... very similar, but still different at the core. one fingerprint isn't like any one else in the world. Would you like to be called by a name or would you like to be called what everyone else is called... Say,... all blue eyed female people are called a name like Belle, and all blue eyed male people to be called Bozo... would you like to be identified with them? Would you like to pay for someone else's crimes cuz you have the same name and general characteristics???
Hmm.. I didn't think so. So let the religions have their own identity. Don't take this right away from people to believe what they want and worship whom they want. The only differences between Judaism and Christianity are the extra-biblical traditions. Everything else, including Jesus the Messiah is exactly the same. (We're talking TRUE Christianity and TRUE Judaism here)
