No. A good breakfast should be well balanced, including a protein, some sort of grain, a fruit, and dairy. Scrambled eggs work for the protein, but you should be eating whole-grain toast or cereal, a piece of fruit, and skim milk as well. If you really need to lose a lot of weight, have a doctor assess your cholesterol. Eggs are good but not if you have high cholesterol. If you eat 2 eggs every day and you have high cholesterol you are going to be in a lot of trouble.
20lbs in 1 month is way too much weight loss. 2 pounds/week is safe and you'll actually keep the weight off. If you loose 20 pounds in 1 month you will gain it all back. It took you longer than 1 month to gain the weight, believe me it will take you longer than 1 month to loose it.

Yes, you might want to consider switching to egg whites - and be sure to add veggies to get the added nutrients. YOu don't have to deprive yourself of nutrition to lose weight. If you don't have much time in the mornings cut up some veggies at night and in the am in takes less than 5 minutes to scramble the eggs and veggies. I am glad to hear that you know that breakfast is important when trying to lose weight.
You could also consider having a cereal that is high in fiber and protein and low in sugar etc. and having it with skim milk and some fruit on top. Doesn't take long at all. I recommend Flax Plus cereal.

It would be better to substitute the eggs for oatmeal. It not only helps your diet, it's also heart healthy.
But if you feel you have to have eggs, use Egg Beaters, they taste as good without the cholesterol and calories.
By the way, good luck on your diet. It's a tough gig, but you'll love the outcome.

use "eggbeaters" instead and also have some fresh fruit to get that little metabolism boost and a cup of super high fiber cereal (kashi bran cereal has 6 grams of fiber!) with fat free milk or vanilla soy milk to get your digestive system moving. you can lose 5 lbs in a month just by eating high fiber foods in the morning.

Eggs are not particularily good while trying to loose weight. Try apples. They have a better effect than cafeine as far as giving you a boost but fill you up.

to lose weight... just increase activity and decrease food intake. have a piece of dry toast... scramble eggs without butter... drink water and a eight ounce glass of skim milk for breakfast.

20 lbs is a lot. That sounds fine but you have to choose what's best for you. Your breakfast should give you enough energy to get your metabolism up and keep you from getting hungry or having cravings.

YES YOU NEED THE ENERGY TO GET YOU GOING IN THE DAY, AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO EAT SOMETHING BIG IT SHOULD BE BREAKFAST, SO YOU WILL BURN IT IFF DURING THE MONTH. YOGURT OR FRUIT IS BETTER, AND JUST AS QUICK. BUT AGAIN IN THE MORNING EGGS ARE OK AND HEALTHY.

I agree with the "eggwhite" people, but I can't stand egg white's alone. You're better off having three eggwhites and add in one yolk. It'll improve the flavor and be easier to cook.

I would go for something like oatmeal. Eggs have quite a bit of fat and are loaded with cholesterol. Try something high in fiber.
