Chances are the girl realized that she would have had a better time with you. Dating her wouldn't be such a good idea. Who's to say that she wouldn't hurt you again if someone who caught her eye wandered by? You need to let her go and leave her be. Trust me, girls have no respect for the fall back guy, and that's what you would be to her. If she thinks she can run to you every time some guy dumps her, she'll keep on breaking your heart. Let her be and find someone who will be true to you and whatever kind of a relationship you build.

Dude dont even give her the time of day and when you get a chance flirt with real girls right in front of her. If she throws herself on you take her out for one night screw her brains out , make sure you dont get her preggy and forget she exhist. This might sound cold but how many girls in school say they love a guy then they get bored with him and turn on him like hes shitt?they can be even colder I promise you. Im 41 i know what they can do. If you were my son I would give u this same advice

I think that you should try to get your mind off of her, she didn't appreciate you last year and she may do it again. She just saw your new look or something that made her change her mind and you want to make her know that you are no longer interested. If this is totally out of the question and you still want to persue her than wait a few weeks or so and if she still seems interested then go for it. =)

Ya know just start off slow. Remember that she hurt you. Is, she doing this because the other guy dumped her? That she knew that you liked her in the past, and is acting on this. Just be careful of this girl, I can't stand when games are played in any relationship. Child games is what I'm talking about. Thank god I don't have to worry about this any more. Good Luck to you.

If you don't want her to hurt you again, don't go out with her. She won't be upset if you tell her what you think. If I did that, I'd ask the guy (if I had the courage) if he liked me anymore. Also, if you can't bring yourself to that level, have a trusted friend do it. If you like her, ask her out. She'd probably be thrilled that you still like her and try not to hurt you again. Just remember this: she might like you, but she might not be ready to spend her whole life with you. There are other girls that you might like, but remember how you felt when she hurt you last time.

Yeah, I went through that last year. I didn't even notice that he was interested, one day, he asks me out at lunch [really loudly too.] I didn't know what to say, so I said the wrong thing. He was heartbroken for a while. I thought he was joking. [still think that he was] but I said that I was sorry, and he started talking to me again. But things like that are like a seesaw. At one point you like her, and she turns you down. Later, she starts to like you, and you turn her down. I hate it. All that I can say is, talk to her, at least be a good friend. Don't just ignore her like this guy is doing to me. And trust me, I feel horrible about last year.
Anyways, good luck.

well, you seem like you like her, but you are unsure, so what you gotta do is see if shes interested, by talking about the upcoming school dance, or a fair coming up, or even talk about how much you want someone who will NOT mess around with your heart, if she seems interested, and you now notice you are interested, go for it, go out on a limb, ask her out. have fun! but dont seem to anxious, cause no one will wanna be around you then. Play hard to get, but not as hard as a rock, be more like a soggy 2X4 of wood, you know what i mean!!!

Don't go back with her.. you don't need that. Besides, you weren't even missing her that much until she came to you.
Only you have the final say in what you will do.. no matter what anyone else tells you. And I'm sure you'll make the right choice.
Good Luck!
P.S. No, you're not stupid..

she probably got burned since then and realized why nice guys finish last, and gave up and decided to come find you for some self-esteem boosting. I hate when girls play mind tricks. Ignore her and she'll chase you, but be careful she may dump you at the first chance from boredom since she knows she can have you.
