I recently got Sirius Satellite Radio and I wanted to know which is the best radio station to set it on in the Kansas City area. I want the least amount of static and I'm having trouble finding a good station. Anyone luckier than me at finding one?

It depends on what model radio you have, but some of them allow you to set up two or more possibilities so that you can switch back and forth as you enter areas with a lot of static. Where I live I sometimes have to switch between 88.9 89.1 and 89.3 depending on the time of day and the area I am in.

By the way, if you want the Playboy channel, sirius 198, you either have to call sirius and get it swtiched on (no charge to you) or go to their website.

I don't think the station necessarily has to be "dead." I am in the Denver area and I use 88.3. I would suggest just tuning and trying different stations until you hit the jackpot :). I usually just keep mine on 88.3, but if there is static then I readjust it (sometimes I get static if I travel to another area).

Shade 45 or Dipset Radio. They are the best stations to hear for sure.
