If you are not a Christian....that is your choice to make. Why bash the ones who have made a different choice?

Tree Hugger-I don't bash non-Christians. Practically all of my family members are non-Christians. They hae made their choices...I have made mine.

to be fair christians do aggravating stuff. I think many US citizens are unhappy with us because our group has been given credit for the election of a group of really bad people. They do not know that we are just mislead and too lazy to review the facts and that many of us were mislead. I know trying to make progress on the abortion issue made some of us blind to the other important things but those who have been affected by the change in a negative way are reacting. Perhaps we should have expected it. We support pro life but when a person makes a mistake are we out there providing an easy way to deal with that mistake. If we had been in the first place there never would have been a pro-choice movement. If we are going to act irresposible then we should expect disapproval
as for me I am really ashamed of what members of my religion have and have not done. The correction lies in Mat 18 and the epistles to TIM and the backbone to hold each other especially our leaders accountable

Have christians not done the same as what the bashers are doing now at least once. The Crusades are prime examples, they bash and by bash I mean killed other for not believing in what they did. Right now the bashers are putting hateful words because what the christians believe is different than their own beliefs. Stay true to your own religion and turn the other cheek, know that you live the way God sees fit and your have a place in Gods heaven. To all that put you and your God down stand tall against them and you will be fine. Just to let you know I'm a Christian but I do not push my religion on those who do not want a place in God's heaven but I do pray for them like Jesus asks of us.

I don't know what's up with the hateful bashing of Christian's on the site. I haven't personally seen enough of the site to see it. I do know t hat typically the reason that so many people get outraged or whatever you want to call it by people that are so to speak "Holy Rollers" is because they try to shove their type of religion down other people's throats. If people are given options instead of "This is how God demands you to be", then they might be more open to things that are said. As well as "Religious Buffs". If you don't try to force things don people's throats, then they might be more willing to listen. As with anything. Not everyone has the same opinion. If you don't want to think like everyone else that might be out there, then why would you want someone else to think the way that you do just because you do?

I actually thought that this was a place where Christians could gather and share their Passion for Christianity and Spirituality, and I have found that on a number of occasions, the ones that enjoy being involved with creating chaos and havoc and trying to steal the joy that Christians may want to share, this is just another place to stir the hearts of believers.
A Christian knows that this Joy can not be taken away from them, and to smile upon a non believer will surely bring more Peace within their own Hearts.

You have the best question I have seen on this site yet! People have the right to choose their own way, but have respect and don't push your beliefs on us and we won't on you! Be who you are and leave out the criticism! I am researching alot of religions and I was raised Christian but hey......that doesn't mean I am gonna bash the Pagans or Atheist.....let's get real and maybe those bashers have too much hate in their heart, seems they have the problem not Christians!!!!!!!

They live in this section. Look at their profiles. They don't have a life and this is the only way for them to get their jollies off is to bash those who believe differently from them. They are racist because they only bash Christians.

I don't bash all of them -- just the sanctimonious shove-it-down-my-throat types that seem to prevail here. If people want to live their lives according to a book of fairy tales written by Stone Age goat herders, that's their own business. But their pitifully ignorant rants and tirades deserve to be shot down.

There's bashing from and directed towards every religion. People just need to calm down...or become more secure or something.
