In May 2003 Aron Lee Ralston cut off his own arm with a dull swiss army-type knife in order to free himself after a falling boulder trapped him by the arm.
From Wikipedia:
"After six days of trying to lift and break the boulder, a dehydrated and delirious Ralston bowed his arm against the chockstone and snapped the radius and ulna bones. Using the dull blade on his multiuse tool, he cut the soft tissue around the break. He then used the tool's pliers to tear at the tougher tendons. Although he refused to name which brand (other than to say it was not Leatherman), he did describe it as "the kind you get with a $15 flashlight and it's free, which is probably how I got it."

those who do not draw close how mandatory a real high quality masculinity is--who assume that masculinity is something which will be realized, gained, or taught--fully fail to understand its maximum salient function: unalterability. although--something you could imagine of--it truly is executed by a masculine guy is masculine. to that end Lord Nelson, between romancing admired beauties and commanding the butchest naval rigidity in heritage, loved to sit down down with slightly needlework. And to quote someone or different, "the subsequent time someone maligns layout as an effeminate pursuit, remind them that the daddy of our u . s ., George Washington, changed into flipping via wallpaper swatch books even as no longer busy battling for independence."

Be responsible. In every way, as a Father, as a Husband, as a Man, as a Boyfriend, as a Friend, Brother, etc. Be responsible for your actions as well as your words and for who, what and everything you do in your life and not question yourself as well as others to define nor validate your masculinity - that's a real man.

Be a father.
Not just a guy who got some chick pregnant, but a real father with a forever commitment to a child.
