No, people of faith are not called upon to SOLVE the woes of the world. We are to help, tell people about the love of our Lord so that they will be saved.
It is impossible to solve all the woes of the world, as long as there is the adversary wandering the earth.
Faith in God doesn't solve our problems, we just get strength to see us through.

Not just people of faith but also those with no faith. The manifestation of love is not dependent upon any religion. It is dependent upon the openess of the human heart. And we as humans cannot be so arrogant as to think we can solve all the world's woes. There are woes beyond our capacity to handle and it is only God who handles them.

No we are not called upon to solve the woes of the world. That job falls to Jesus our savior and the holy spirit our comforter. However it is our job to love everyone and to teach as many as possible about the beauty of God's love for us and how we can introduce you to him that you may experience the solving of your woes.

They aren't doing a very good job of it are they? I guess prayer isn't working. How about getting your church to throw some money at the problem and see what happens?

No, we are to live peaceably with all men as much as is possible. We are to love our neighbor as ourselves and we are to have no other gods before Jehovah. We are not to solve the worlds problems.

First they have to kill everyone who disagrees with them. THEN they will manifest love.
