Why not use real coins? Seriously, make it real for him and he will learn them so much better. Play store together and let him decide how much everything will cost. In that way, it will 'click' with him and he'll understand concept so much better.

A fun way to make coins on paper is to take a real coin, place it underneath a piece of paper and rub hard with a pencil.

Here is a place with worksheets for you as requested: http://www.busyteacherscafe.com/wspages/math.htm Just scroll down the page a bit. The coins actually look real on the paper. Must of Adobe to open the page.

You could look online, but if he's learning things like pennies, quarters, dimes, and nickels then give him the real deal and sit him down and talk to him yourself. Make a game out of making 'change' with said coins.

I'm dyslexic so I had a very hard time just enjoying the game and figuring out the difference. But most kids seem to enjoy it when they can sit down with mom and learn things like that.

Perhaps you should go to a coin shop and ask someone there if they have anything that could help.

make your own worksheet up....after all you know your own son's strengths and weaknesses (if he is a visual learner than show him pictures, auditory repeat the coins and their values over and over, Hands-on show him the real deal )
