*He* would definately get into a lot of trouble. If the parents really hated him, they could press charges and they would charge you for Statutory Rape with a minor (being that they say minors can't give consent). I doubt it would go all the way through in court though - because most likely by then, she would be 18, and a judge would probably look at it as retarded. And the parents are probably just threatening - they know doing that would push her away more. I wouldn't worry all too much about it - but be careful. They can't press charges - as long as they don't catch you, or she doesn't tell them.

first off you guys are two years apart from each othe r so technically they cant press charges not for the minor thing anyway because you guys are very close in age ( im trying to be a police officer so i would know) unless you guys were five years apart thats the only way but if her parents dont want you around her they can put a restraining order on you so watch out if you really love her just wait until shes 18 its worht it if you guys are in love or if you can satnd the heat get otu the kitchen!!

I don't know if this varies state to state but I know in my state you can get charged with statutory rape and if you are convicted of it you will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of your life. That is a horrible road to have to go down but unfortunately it doens't matter if you are truly in love with each other in the eyes of the law. I would go to your state laws and find out what the legal age of consent is. In some states it is 16 not 18.

I thought you couldn't press charges in having relations with a child unless when was under 14?
I think I am right, look it up.

follow your hearts, the girl would have to vouche for the sexual relations......and if she's not willing to, the parents can't prove it. I was 16 when I stated dating my boyfriend who was 21......we are still together 3 years later. my parents tried the same thing. I picked him over them and they changed their minds real quick
